In Depth Hunter, the player takes on the role of a diver who swims through the ocean floor in search of sunken wrecks, rare fish species and many other underwater treasures. Most of the gameplay takes you on a quiet tour of the marine world and underwater landscapes, but there's also some action. Adventure can sometimes be hindered by attacks of bloodthirsty sharks.

Depth Hunter is a game addressed to a very narrow audience. Not only does it belong to the genre of simulators, which are usually of interest only to ardent fans, but it also concerns such a poorly distributed field as diving. On the other hand, it may be of interest to people who, for various reasons, cannot experience a real underwater adventure on their own. For virtual divers, the creators have prepared a total of 40 different tasks. These include, for example, capturing or photographing certain species of fish or other marine creatures. Supporters of less monotonous activities can go hunting underwater with the use of a harpoon. However, they must be careful, because in the sea depths you can come across predators, which will gladly snack a lonely diver. Also, you can search for sunken wrecks and hidden treasures. If players prefer to swim without taking any tasks, they can turn on the free mode and without any restrictions explore the marine world. All missions are located in detailed areas. At first glance you can see that the creators have put a lot of work into a realistic reflection of the seafloor. During the underwater expeditions you can therefore meet authentic species of plants, corals and fish. Particularly noteworthy is also the lighting system, which perfectly presents the sun rays breaking through the sea depths.
