Demon Hunter: Ascendance Description
Ascendance is the subtitle of the fifth installment of the Demon Hunter cycle. Like the previous parts of the series, this game represents the HOPA genre. The production was developed by the Brave Giant studio, and the Polish company Artifex Mundi is responsible for its release.
Plot
The main character of the game Demon Hunter 5: Ascendance is Hector Cole, a battle-hardened member of the order that fights against the forces of evil. The protagonist's task is to investigate the mysterious disappearance of one of the guests at Edmund Strange's museum of mysticism and monsters. This is complicated by the fact that the location was apparently taken over by a mysterious being that is carefully watching Cole's every step.
Mechanics
In Demon Hunter 5: Ascendance there are thirty-five hand-drawn locations for us to visit, where we have to solve twenty-six puzzles; according to the rules of the genre, the latter rely primarily on the search for concealed objects. As we move forward, we learn more about the elements of the mystery presented in the storyline, and we also discover more about the past of Mr Strange's Museum and the events that took place there.
Technical aspects
Demon Hunter 5: Ascendance has colorful and detailed graphics. A disturbing soundtrack and dialogue options that send shivers down your spine effectively create an atmosphere of horror.
