Delta Green is a title on the verge of action genres and strategy, based on the popular in the west series of RPG table games with elements of strategy, with the same title. The computer game, like the whole series, is inspired by the work of H.P. Lovecraft, and the leitmotif is government secrets hidden from the public.
The player becomes the leader of a secret organization operating within the federal government. Its task is to hide the truth about the mysterious ancient world, inhabited by a bloodthirsty race lurking in hiding. In our department there are only the best people, people for whom the goals of the mission are the most important and do not take into account any moral premises. To protect the world from the most horrible nightmare, we cannot afford scruples or mercy, we spy on various government agencies including the FBI, we murder witnesses with cold blood who threaten the security of the world and we oppose foreign and supernatural creatures.
Delta Green offers us the opportunity to play strategically and tactically in real time, and the authors describe their work and the amount of innovation it contains as an explosive mixture of Tom Clancy and Stephen King. The game has a completely three-dimensional graphic design based on the well-known LithTech Jupiter engine, which was used, among others, in No One Lives Forever 2.
