Hybrid of a two-dimensional platformer and a puzzle game in which players take on the role of Kara - a gravitational ninja warrior. During the game, the heroine jumps over platforms and solves riddles. Gravity Gun comes in handy - a tool that creates gravity and antigravity "pockets" that pull or repel elements of the environment, as well as the environment itself.

Defy Gravity Extended is a hybrid of a classic platform and logic game, developed by the independent developer Paul Fisch.

Story

The story layer does not play a particularly important role in Defy Gravity Extended. The player takes on the role of Kara the so-called gravitational ninja, who sets out to a place known as The Gauntlet to test her skills.

Mechanics

In Defy Gravity Extended we observe the action from the side. The gameplay is based on an uncomplicated formula, because during the game we travel through futuristic locations full of dangers, jump over platforms, bypass ubiquitous traps and solve puzzles, trying to get to the exit.

An unusual tool located on the shoulder of the protagonist comes to our aid - Gravity Gun breaks the laws of physics, creating gravitational and antigravitational "pockets". While the former attracts certain items, the latter repels them; of course, this also applies to Kara, who can use it to avoid obstacles, makes longer and higher jumps, or even gain access to blocked places. It is worth noting that the title is characterized by high level of difficulty - one wrong move is enough to send the protagonist to the other world; fortunately, the game is facilitated by a well-thought-out system of checkpoints.

Technical aspects

Defy Gravity Extended features two-dimensional visuals of average quality, associated with browser games. The same applies to the soundtrack that accompanies us during the game.
