Deer Drive: Legends 3D

developer: Raylight Studios publisher: Maximum Games
Deer Drive: Legends, released on PC, Wii and 3DS, is the response of Raylight to the great popularity of hunting games in the U.S. market. Unlike competitive productions that focus on realism, the creators of Deer Drive: Legends decided to let their fantasy run free.
Plot
The main campaign allows the player to take part in a hunting expedition, the aim of which is to win trophies legendary animals and thus prove their existence. Among over 30 species we can find include a Woolly rhinoceros, an Irish elk, a cave bear, a smilodon and even a tyrannosaur.
Mechanics
The game is an on-rails shooter in which reflexes and good movement coordination are important. Unlike typical first-person shooters (FPS), in Deer Drive: Legends, the player only controls the crosshair and their task is to aim and press the trigger before a wild animal manages to get closer.
During the game, you can use different types of weapons, including rifles, shotguns and crossbows. As the game progresses, the character created by the player gains experience, which allows them to develop their hunting skills.
Technical aspects
The graphics in Deer Drive: Legends show the game's low budget. Both character models and animations are far from the standards of modern games. It is worth noting, however, the large variety of locations (e.g. Rocky Mountains, Great Lakes, European forest, African savannah).
