An action RPG developed by Capcom Online Games in cooperation with SCE Japan Studio. The story of Deep Down presents a future in which humanity created a technology that allows people to travel into the past written in artifacts. The players assume the role of a group of time-travelling heroes to hunt treasures and fight monsters. The gameplay is specifically designed to allows cooperation of up to four players.

Deep Down Description
Deep Down for PS4 is the first game of Capcom, made especially to utilize the capabilities of PlayStation 4, using the new engine, Panta Rhei. Capcom Online Games and SCE Japan Studio were responsible for the production of the game.
The game combines elements of science fiction and fantasy. The action is located in 2094, but the essence of the game is traveling to a distant past stored in artifacts, where players can search for treasures and fight monsters.
The game, released on PS4 was designed for co-op mode online gameplay for up to four players. The participants assume the roles of heroes (knights, warriors, mages, etc.) who venture into the depths of randomly generated dungeons full of traps, monsters, and also valuable items to find. The characters have different types of weapons (swords, spears, spells) and abilities that define their role in the team.
The combat mechanics solutions are based on well-known to all lovers of hack'n'slash games. While fighting opponents, characters may use different types of attacks and defenses, and also combine them in a more effective combinations. The appearance and weapons used by the enemies are randomly generated.
Deep Down stands out with extensive social features. They allow you to communicate with friends, including calling for help from other players, or borrowing virtual objects.
High quality visuals of the game are powered by a modern engine, Panta Rhei. It offers support for technologies such as tessellation, dynamic level of detail (DLOD), approximating Catmull-Clark Subdivision Surfaces, lighting Voxel Cone Tracing, and Partially Resident Textures.
Note: The game is distributed on the basis of free-to-play business model, utilizing a system of micropayments. This means that you can play Deep Down for free, but some of the options and items may require paying a fee.

Deep Down is Alive, Despite Almost 7 Years Since the Announcement
In a recent interview, producer Yoshinori Ono confirmed the fate of the spectacular action RPG called Deep Down, which was announced back in 2013. Although the developer team that worked on the game under his lead has been dissolved, Capcom does not forget about the title and is still considering its future.
