Deathverse: Let It Die is a multiplayer action game, which is a continuation of the production released in 2016 under the title Let It Die. The project was developed by Supertrick Games studio, and its release was handled by GungHo Online Entertainment. The game is available in a free-to-play model with micropayments (free-to-play).
Plot
The action of Deathverse: Let It Die is set hundreds of years after the events presented in the original. The production takes us to an island covered with SPLithium, a substance which is the primary source of energy in this world. The waste it leaves behind causes contamination, through which living creatures and plants undergo various mutations, becoming the so-called UMA.
The enigmatic Yotsuyama Broadcasting Company has chosen this place as the location for its new reality show. Everyone who decides to take part in the Death Jamboree must fight for survival against both the other contestants and the UMA staying on the island. All in order to win the much desired grand prize.
Mechanics
Deathverse: Let It Die action was shown from a third person perspective (TPP). Game allows us to create our own character. The pillar of the game are battles, in which the participants fight each other for survival. Apart from that, within each season the authors make available additional modes with different rules.
During the game we use Wilson, a special bot that has a number of functions indispensable during the fight. He can change into various weapons, shoot enemies with stun projectiles or even create shields to protect us from enemy attacks. As we progress we develop Wilson, unlocking new features. In addition, over time we receive offers from various sponsors, gaining access to various cosmetic accessories (such as clothing or mascots).
It's worth remembering that the other players are not our only concern. Apart from them, the UMAs living on the island also want to kill us, the most dangerous of which, like the almost indestructible Hunters, appear on the battlefield in the second half of each skirmish.
Technical aspects
Deathverse: Let It Die features good quality graphics. It is in a pleasant to the eye, slightly caricatured style.
