Deal or No Deal: Secret Vault Games is a continuation of Deal or No Deal released at the end of 2006. Similarly to the first part, the described product refers to the popular tele-tournament, to Polish viewers known as "Play or Don't Play". It is also worth mentioning that the game is based on the American edition of this programme, broadcasted by the NBC and led by Howie Mandela.
General rules of the game are very similar to the formula of a TV program. We play the role of one of the participants of the teletournament, striving to win the main prize, i.e. one million dollars. We start the game by choosing one of 26 suitcases. In each of them there is a different amount of money (from one cent to one million dollars) - which we do not know until the very end of the program. Throughout the show we bargain with the banker for our suitcase, and also successively eliminate further nessesers from the game.
One of the main new features of Secret Vault Games is the ability to play according to modified rules. Instead of just choosing suitcases and listening to the banker's proposals in the studio, we can enter the title treasury and take part in one of twenty mini-games. They are very diverse and may require us to show reflexes, good memory or the ability to associate facts. Sometimes it is also the case that victory depends solely on whether we are lucky at a given moment. The common element of all games is the presence of a time limit. In addition, we put our suitcase on the balance, so if you lose, you automatically lose everything.
We can start the game alone or invite another player to play. Secret Vault Games' visuals have not undergone any major changes. A lot of emphasis was put on reproducing the elements known from a real teletournament. This refers to the decoration of the studio as well as people visible on the screen (tutors, hostesses with suitcases).
