An arcade first-person rail shooter and a spin-off installment of the bestselling survival horror series by Visceral Games, Dead Space. The game’s plot is a sort of a prequel to the events presented in the original Dead Space and explains the reasons why its protagonist, Isaac Clarke, went to USG Ishimura which was infected by a mysterious alien race, the Necromorph.

Dead Space Extraction is an action game belonging to the horror survival genre. It tells the story before the events known from Head Space, released on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PCs. The title was built from scratch especially for Nintendo Wii and PlayStation 3, produced by EA Redwood Shores, and published by Electronic Arts.

The game brings you closer to the events taking place before the story presented in Dead Space, a great survival horror film from 2008. So we get to know the reasons why it was decided to start Isaac Clarke's mission - he had to investigate the situation on the Ishimura USG ship. On site it turned out that the object was infected by the mysterious race Necromorph - terrifying monsters who did not know compassion for any living creature.
