A sandbox survival simulator with adventure and horror features from Thai studio Phoenix. It is an extended version of a 2013 amateur project built on CryEngine. We play as an anonymous character, who wakes up on endless desert. Naturally, his only goal is to survive and escape from the hellish place, which requires solving many puzzles, exploring the game’s world and developing our character, who learns new, useful skills.

Dead Sea is a sandbox survival with horror and adventure games’ features inspired by titles like DayZ and Monster Hunter series. It is a work of a small, independent Phoenix studio from Thailand and is based on completely amateur project from 2013 for CryEngine. Due to a lot of interest on Facebook and CryDev, it has been decided to turns it into full-scale game.

Plot

Like in most similar titles, Dead Sea’s story is far from being complex. Our anonymous hero wakes up on endless desert and has only one goal – to survive and escape from this place. As we progress through the game and three different locations, protagonist fulfills various tasks connected to the story and discovers more and more secrets of this mysterious desert.
