Moving Hazard for PS4, PC and XONE is a first person shooter created by IllFonic - a developer popular for Nexuiz.
Plot
The action begins fifty years after the outbreak of the zombie epidemic. The dead won the war against humans and those remaining alive found shelter in city-states governed by the military. However, the tragedy did not make the humans unite, but rather caused conflicts between survivors fighting over the resources left.
Mechanics
Moving Hazard for PS4, PC and XONE is a typical representative of the FPS genre. The player views the action through the eyes of the character and for the most part, they fight hordes of enemies. The game focuses on the multiplayer mode however, in which, teams of players compete against one another, fighting over the resources and control over strategically important spots.
Although the maps are swarming with the zombies, they are not simply another threat here. The players can use them against the opposition in a variety of ways. For instance, the player can find grenades containing a substance that attracts the zombies or infected bullets turning the enemies into the dead. The templars on the other hand (one of character classes here), have a device which generates signals that scare-off the dead - with a bit of effort then, one can direct a group of bloodthirsty monsters right to the opposing team. Being able to use the zombies to one's advantage is crucial for success here - it is a key element of the game.
An extensive character development system diversifies the experience - each character class has a skill tree corresponding to it. Furthermore, the player extends their hideout between matches, which gives access to certain bonuses making it easier to achieve victory.
Game modes
Moving Hazard for PS4, PC and XONE offers six PvP modes. Among those, one can find such classics as Team Deathmatch or King of The Hill. Also, the game features a single-player campaign and a co-op horde mode requiring the players to face more and more powerful zombie waves.
