DC League of Super-Pets: The Adventures of Krypto and Ace is a rail-shooter game developed by PHL Collective studio and published by Outright Games. It was produced to accompany the release of the animated movie.

Plot

DC League of Super-Pets: The Adventures of Krypto and Ace takes us on a journey to futuristic Metropolis, where Superman and Batman take care of order on a daily basis. When their four-legged friends Krypto and Ace discover that the sinister Lex Luthor intends to kidnap all stray animals and lock them behind the bars of LexCorp Zoo, they decide to rush to the poor animals' rescue.

Game mechanics

In DC League of Super-Pets: The Adventures of Krypto and Ace, we observe the action from a third-person perspective (TPP). In the game, we control two dogs endowed with superpowers - Krypto (who can shoot lasers from his eyes and has the ability of arctic barking) and Ace (whose superior weapon is batarangs). Dogs fly along the streets of Metropolis and eliminate hosts of LexBots, and our role during the battle boils down to aiming, using special abilities and performing dodges. Along the way, we rescue stray animals, to which we can look for new homes during breaks from fighting for a better tomorrow for Metropolis, matching them with their new owners (for which we receive special rewards). As we progress, we improve the powers of Krypto and Ace, which allows us to face more and more challenges and, consequently, prepare for the final duel with Luthor.
