DayZ: Livonia Description
Livonia is the title of the expansion to the survival game called DayZ. The DLC was developed by the authors of the original, i.e. Bohemia Interactive.
Mechanics
DayZ: Livonia introduces the title map with an area of 163 square kilometres. The are at our disposal is located in Eastern Europe. The area includes not only dense forests full of lush vegetation, but also picturesque fields and river valleys, gloomy swamps and ruins and other remains of an old civilization.
In addition to the rich flora, Livonia is abundant in wildlife and fish, which makes it possible to engage in gathering, as well as fishing and hunting. During the escapades, however, one should be on our guard, because dangerous brown bears roam the area. In addition, other players (up to 60 people can play at the same time), as well as the infected, can pose a significant threat. Danger can also be caused by violent thunderstorms.
Game modes
Like the base version of the game, the Livonia DLC can only be played in multiplayer mode.
Technical aspects
Livonia is a non-standalone expansion, so it requires the base version of the game to work.
