David Douillet Judo is, as the name suggests, a representative of a very rarely represented genre of games, i.e. sports simulation of Judo fights. This program was created thanks to the efforts of programmers from the Belgian branch of 10Tacle.
David Douillet Judo is, as the name suggests, a representative of a very rarely represented genre of games, i.e. sports simulation of Judo fights. This product was created thanks to the efforts of the programmers of the Belgian branch of 10Tacle, and the most successful French Judoka, David Douillet, took an active part in its creation. The aim of the authors was to give the fans of this sport a very realistic game. This is evidenced both by the official license of the French judo federation (the third largest in the world) and by the authentic, currently applied rules. The game also offers a modern, fully three-dimensional graphical engine used to visualize duels, as well as a specially designed combat system, thanks to which we can use about 50 different types of shanks, levers, throws and pads. The whole system of judo control, body balance, speed of movement, etc. is also worth mentioning.
The game welcomes everyone interested in an extensive tutorial, in which Douillet himself introduces them to the fundamental rules of judo and current regulations. Once we assimilate the basics, the famous fighter teaches more advanced combat tactics. Then the career mode is available. You can freely create your own, unique sportsman, and then take him to the top, from local and national competitions to international championships. When he succeeds in winning the title of world champion, David Douillet becomes a playable character.
