Dark Eclipse is the first-ever MOBA strategy game designed for the PlayStation VR. The game is available in a free-to-play model - it offers an extensive multiplayer mode and a dozen different characters. The game was developed by an experienced Sunsoft studio.
Mechanics
The action in the Dark Eclipse is observed from above. Each player controls a team of three different characters and tries to use their skills to support AI-controlled soldiers in the fight against the opponent's army. Commands are given using either the DualShock 4 gamepad or two Move controllers.
Game modes
Dark Eclipse can only be played with others in the online mode.
Technical aspects
Dark Eclipse has three-dimensional graphics that don't differ from what we know from other productions dedicated to PlayStation VR. Graphics are not too detailed, but the use of virtual reality technology allows you to check every corner of the game world - this results in a level of immersion unattainable for traditional games. The production is also characterized by the manga artistic style, typical for many Asian titles.
