An action adventure game starring James Bond. Cypher 007 tasks us with escaping the brainwashing Mind Trap, defeat villainous Blofeld, stop his SPECTRE syndicate and foil their Cypher program.
Cypher 007 is a James Bond action adventure game developed by Tilting Point.
Plot
The main protagonist of Cypher 007 is, as to be expected, James Bond. He has been captured by Ernst Stavro Blofeld, a criminal mastermind and the leader of SPECTRE, planning to forcefully turn him into a double agent. The villain holds Bond in a psychiatric hospital, trying to brainwash him using the Mind Trap techniques. 007 must escape the facility, defeat Blofeld and foil his Cypher program.
Apart from Blofeld and other iconic villains from the franchise, the game also features such characters as Q, M and Moneypenny.
Mechanics
Cypher 007 makes use of the top-down perspective. The player must traverse different locations, complete objectives, find intel, solve puzzles and dispatch enemies. Though there are plenty of intense sequences, there's also lots of stealth.
Bond has access to various creative gadgets, firearms and his fists. As we progress through the game, we acquire new equipment and upgrade it. There are also plenty of cosmetics to find.
Technical aspects
Cypher 007 features cartoonish visuals and a soundtrack heavily reminiscent of James Bond movies.
