Cycling Evolution 2009 is a sports manager dedicated to road cycling, produced by Freedom Factory studio. The player has the opportunity to play the role of the professional director of the cycling team and direct the activities of the riders on the routes of the most important European races. His responsibilities include logistics, training planning and financial management.

Cycling Evolution 2009 is an attempt by Freedom Factory to respond to the popular Pro Cycling Manager series. The production is addressed to road cycling enthusiasts who would like to get to know the arcana of this sport "from the kitchen".

The player has the opportunity to play the role of a professional cycling team manager. His duties include establishing tactics during the stage, but also financial management, appointing a team for individual races, logistics, transferring competitors and establishing training regimes.

Cycling Evolution 2009 offers two fun options - a single race or a managerial mode covering the whole season. The database in the game contains about 40 teams and 1000 riders, most of which are authentic team names and player names, while in other cases minor changes have been made - e.g. Alberto Contador to Alberto Cuntador. The race calendar contains the most important cycling events of the year, although the lack of an official UCI license prevented the use of real event names, for example the Giro d'Italia functions as Volta Italiana in the game. However, this inconvenience can be remedied with the built-in editor.
