Curling 2012 is a curling simulation produced by ActaLogic studio. Players have the opportunity to try their hand at a sports discipline included in the winter Olympic Games program. The creators took care of realistic physics of stone slippage, as well as advanced scripts of artificial intelligence, corresponding to the most popular strategies used by professional teams.

Curling is treated in Poland as an exotic sport. Meanwhile, in many countries around the world, the sport enjoys popularity comparable to hockey, volleyball or football. In 2010, ActaLogic studio prepared a curling simulation for fans of sliding stones. The game turned out to be so popular that developers decided to produce the second part of the game, significantly improving many elements of gameplay and graphic design.

As befits a sports simulation, the game in Curling 2012 is based on authentic rules of this sport, which dates back to the Middle Ages. The aim of the game is to place one's own stones as close as possible to the target (the so-called house) on the pitch in the shape of a rectangular ice sheet and, at the same time, to knock out the stones of the opposing team.
