CSI: Hidden Crimes Description
CSI: Hidden Crimes, released on AND, browsers and iOS, is a casual detective game that belongs to the popular genre of hidden objects. The production was produced under the license of a popular TV series about the work of the police. The game was developed by UbiSoft Abu Dhabi - the group's internal studio, which also worked on the PC, usually adventurous, entries of the series.
Mechanics
In CSI: Hidden Crimes, we play the role of a new, promising member of the CSI team, who deals with solving further criminal cases. The game boils down mainly to searching hidden objects in locations to find clues that are important for the case. The next step is to analyze the evidence in the police forensic laboratory. This is done by participating in a series of logic-arcade mini-games that cleverly use the unique features of mobile devices. Finally, after analyzing the clues gathered and combining them, we must identify and arrest the perpetrator.
CSI: Hidden Crimes has an episodic formula, and subsequent crime cases are released at different intervals. As befits a licensed production, during the game, we are accompanied by the characters known from the latest CSI: Las Vegas seasons like D.B. Russell (Ted Danson), Julie Finlay (Elisabeth Shue) or Nicholas Stokes (George Eads). Jack Gutowitz, the original screenwriter of the series, is responsible for the plot of subsequent stories.
Technical aspects
The graphics in CSI: Hidden Crimes don't differ much from the PC versions of the series and was made in a similar, cartoon style.
