Crusaders: Battle for Outremer Description
Crusaders: Battle for Outremer is a real-time strategy game. The French developer Black Cactus, who has a very good Warrior Kings strategy and Warrior Kings: Battles, is responsible for its creation. The action of this production was located after the Second Great Crusade (1150-1250), in the times of great turmoil and fear, when huge armies of Christian knights and warriors of Islam fought for the Holy Land. Players can choose to play as a Crusader or Saracen and take part in the most famous battles of the time (including Acre, Arsuf, Ascalon and Hattin), as well as meet famous personalities such as Richard the Lion's Heart.
Crusaders: Battle for Outremer uses a fully three-dimensional graphical engine, which is in fact a developed version of the engine used in the Warrior Kings series. After a one-person campaign, it also allows up to eight players to play multiplayer games simultaneously via the local network and the Internet.
