CROWZ is a multiplayer shooter, distributed as a free-to-play game. The gameplay is based on well-known battle royale concepts, focusing on cooperation with other team members.
Plot
The story in the game serves only as a background to explain our actions during the game. Earth was bombarded with hundreds of meteorites, creating many forbidden zones full of toxic gas. However, scientists have discovered that the core of each rock consists of a valuable element called Q-on. As one of the mercenaries known as CROWZ, we will face off against others on our journey to capture another of these cores.
Game mechanics
CROWZ is a multiplayer game, with a single player mode only in the form of training, where we learn mechanics, weapon handling, accessories, etc. The game has typical battle royale features: we play on a large map, which we explore freely and which gets smaller as time goes by. Along the way we acquire new equipment and find vehicles. Vehicles are used both to move faster and to fight. We can observe the action from both FPP and TPP, depending on our preferences. We can equip the acquired weapons, such as rifles, pistols, shotguns, etc., with sights, grenade launchers, larger magazines and other gadgets, so we can fight in many different ways.
The title allows us to perform daily or weekly missions, for which we get special rewards. The results we achieve improve our position in the seasonal ranking. The developers plan to constantly expand the content of the game, not only in terms of skins, but also new gameplay solutions, vehicles and weapons.
Game modes
Game features several game modes. The basic, most classic battle royale, is Blood Zone, where 64 players fight each other for the element Q-on. In addition, we can play in Custom Conflict, designed for a smaller number of people, 16, but there is its alternative version, where the skirmishes count 80 players. Both rely on the need to defeat as many opponents as possible.
Technical aspects
Graphics in the game at the time of release looked decent and focused on realism, rather than a specific style.
