Crossroads is a co-op action game in which players try to stop the invasion of evil forces on modern United States. We mainly fight with enemies and close portals through which monsters get through.
Crossroads is an action game focused on co-op mode. The game was developed by the French team Piece of Cake Studios, the authors of Hacktag.
Plot
The action takes place in the United States, in times which are a prelude to the apocalypse. Demons, vampires, werewolves and other supernatural beasts start appearing on the Earth through portals. People are being evacuated by the army, which is helpless against the forces of darkness.
Players take on the role of members of a secret brotherhood of monster hunters who have prepared for centuries to battle the armies of evil. Now the fate of the entire human civilization will depend on them.
Game mechanics
Crossroads is an action game in which we observe the events from third person perspective. We fight with monsters using various cold weapons and firearms. We can also use supernatural abilities of hunters in clashes.
The authors have prepared a large range of different monsters to defeat, and the gameplay is varied by regular clashes with powerful bosses. On each map our task is to close the portal, which stops the invasion of the forces of darkness on the region.
Game modes
The game focuses on co-op mode, but it also allows to play solo.
Technical aspects
Crossroads features an eye-pleasing fully 3D graphics made in a slightly cartoonish style.
