Crimson Road is an arcade shooter produced by Media Contact studio. The plot of the game depicts the struggle with a dangerous virus, which turns people into bloodthirsty beasts. The player controls an armored combat vehicle, and its task is to destroy hordes of mutants and protect a handful of survivors of the planet who have managed to withstand the epidemic.

Crimson Road is a dynamic dual shooter shooter based on classic games of the genre (e.g. Commando). Media Contact studio is responsible for the production, known mainly from low-budget, free titles such as Police Supercars Racing or Alien Wars.

Crimson Road takes place in the near future. Due to the mysterious virus humanity practically ceased to exist. Few survivors are threatened by hordes of mutants. The only rescue for the planet is a special inquisitor's unit, who, with a heavily armed combat vehicle, can cope with the effects of the plague.

According to the genre convention, the player drives a car and fires at the same time. The action is shown from a height (TPP), which gives an excellent view of a large area of the board. While struggling with mutants you can use many types of weaponry - from machine gun, through rocket launcher, to the flame thrower. The vehicle is attacked from all sides by different types of mutants with different combat skills. Defeated enemies often leave behind rewards in the form of power-ups, which temporarily facilitate fun.
