Creeper World IXE PC

Creeper World IXE is the fifth installment of the Creeper World series: real-time tower defense strategy games, in which we wage a b?y with a liquid that devours living matter. The independent studio Knuckle Cracker, known from the previous installments of the series and the game Particle Fleet: Emergence, is responsible for the production.

Story background

The titular Creeper is an ancient liquid wr?g, mercilessly spreading over the shaped terrain, consuming and destroying everything that stands in its way. With enough firepower, it can be repelled. However, in most cases it cannot be completely destroyed simply by shooting at it, as it regenerates thanks to its emitters.

The only way to stop the alien is to find and destroy the emitters and IXE cores on each planet, and this is precisely the goal of the Creeper World IXE story campaign.

Gameplay

In Creeper World IXE, we command a number of units (primarily aircraft), fighting against the spreading liquid, sand and more. As each pixel is simulated, we find unique positions and angles to destroy the alien slime emitters. We explore planets and hold our position, raiding localized IXE cores and discovering new technologies. We use gravity, terrain and chemistry to fight the enemy, terraforming different types of surfaces.

The fifth installment in the series introduces improved fluid simulation with waves creating new enemy behavior, and the particle system includes new and larger threats. Unlike previous installments, we look at the world from the side.

Mod support

Creeper World IXE includes an easy-to-use level editor and gives players the ability to create custom units, missions and control mods.

Graphics

Unlike the previous installment in the series, Creeper World IXE has two-dimensional pixel graphics.
