Plot
The action of Conway: Disappearance at Dahlia View is set in England in the 1950s, specifically - in the title town of Dahlia View, which was shaken by the disappearance of eight-year-old Charlotte May. The main character of the game is Robert Conway - a retired detective confined to a wheelchair. Wanting to conduct his own investigation, the protagonist begins to observe his neighbors from his balcony and document their suspicious behavior. As time goes by, various people start knocking on his apartment's door - from his daughter who works for the police, to some criminals who don't like his work.
Mechanics
In Conway: Disappearance at Dahlia View we are mainly engaged in observing the main character's neighbors. Although at first it may seem that each of them leads a peaceful life, Conway quickly becomes a witness to various family dramas, quarrels and aggressive behavior, gradually gaining suspicions about who might be behind the disappearance of an eight-year-old girl. As time goes by, the protagonist has no choice but to leave his relatively safe space and start interrogating the suspects, using the clues he has already gathered. In this way he can gain more information, which he believes will lead him to the perpetrator of the crime. What complicates matters is that there is no shortage of people in Dahlia View who don't like his behavior.
