Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 - Commander's Challenge

Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 - Commander’s Challenge is a side installment of the third part of Red Alert. The add-on was developed by the team at Electronic Arts Los Angeles which created such games as Medal of Honor: Airborne or Boom Blox.

Commander’s Challenge resembles Uprising – a standalone expansion for Red Alert 3. It offers a pretty big set of special tasks in which we have to face generals fighting for the world domination. The players may assume the role of one of three factions known from the Red Alert universe. In total, the game consists of 50 different and challenging challenges.

Before the fight begins, we choose a mission on the world map. The game offers a lot of freedom in this matter for we can, for instance, switch sides at any moment. Beating a given scenario unlocks access to new missions, awards, and previously locked technologies. Among eleven new units, you can find Giga Fortress, Desolators and Cryo Legionaries.

The gameplay itself resembles the previous installments in the Command & Conquer series. We assume the role of a commander who controls the units, fights his enemies, builds his base, and gathers resources. Each of the scenarios is very specific and forces the player to apply completely new tactics which makes the game even more attractive.
