Collapse: The Rage is a stand-alone addition to the 2008 release of the action game Collapse: Devastated World. Players have the opportunity to learn more about Rodan and his companions fighting against newcomers from other dimensions. Developers from Creoteam studio decided to introduce not only new storylines, but also a lot of changes in the game, including a modified combat system.
Self-extension Collapse: Devastated World, an action game set in the postapocalyptic realities of the near future. Collapse: The Rage tells the story of the main character in the base game. It turns out that despite his sacrifice, the Rhone was not able to completely destroy the inter-dimensional gap, known as The Hole. Instead, it was broken down into many smaller ones, from which bloodthirsty beasts come to Earth. To make matters worse, recurring earthquakes have helped to strengthen the power of the monsters from the beyond.
Collapse: The Rage is a unique mix of hack'n'slash and shooting, enriched with arcade elements and puzzles. However, the developers introduced a few important changes in relation to the basic version of the game. First of all, combat mechanics has been improved, more special effects have been added, a new character development system and a spectacular "Rage" fun mode.
From the technical point of view, the extension does not deviate from the standards set by Collapse: Devastated World. Players can once again follow the action from a third party perspective (TPP) and see from behind the main character's back the vast locations, depicting a vision of a devastated world at the end of the 21st century. Events on the screen are accompanied by atmospheric music performed by NewTone.
