City Eye is the first production by indie Polish studio Nesalis Games. It is an unusual strategy ame with simulation elements, released for PC Windows.

Mechanics

In City Eye, you play as a city surveillance camera operator, and your task is to monitor the city streets and alert the right services about potential threats. In order to ensure the safety of the citizens, you have to watch the city map and respond not only to instances of theft, assault or terrorism, but also other alarming situations such as fires. However, since most citizens are of the non-law-abiding variety, your main targets are criminals. During the game, you have to track the criminals with the cameras (between which you can freely switch), take pictures of them, inform the law enforcement about their positions, and gather evidence and useful information.

Technical aspects

City Eye for PC Windows features 3D visuals, which allows you to witness crimes committed by various evildoers, and later, when the police arrives, see how the intervention goes (very often it ends with a chase). The game features almost monochromatic color palette, with the exception of the interface.
