Choo-Choo Charles

Choo-Choo Charles is an survival horror action adventure game with an open world. The game was developed by an independent one-man studio Two Star Games.

Plot

Choo-Choo Charles takes us to the grim island where terror is spread by Charles - animated locomotive equipped with spider legs, which feeds on human flesh. During the game we play as a daredevil who decides to deal with him once and for all.

Mechanics

In Choo-Choo Charles we observe the action from first person perspective (FPP). We travel across the island covered by railroad tracks on board of a small yellow draisine or on foot. The second solution is not the safest one, because we are completely defenseless outside of our vehicle. The draisine is equipped with a machine gun. Although the gun is not immediately able to kill Charles, who is always following us, but it can effectively deter him.

Exploring the game world, we meet various characters and complete tasks for them. Because of the danger that may lurk around every corner and because of the necessity of changing switches (which involves leaving the draisine), every expedition should be carefully planned. However, it is worth the candle, because during the subsequent escapades we collect valuable scrap. Obtained pieces are used to improve the draisine's armor, increase its speed and improve the CKM. Thanks to this, with time our combat potential grows, which gradually brings us closer to the desired goal, which is killing the chasing monster.

Technical aspects

Choo-Choo Charles features dark, high-quality graphics. The game runs on Unreal Engine 4.
