Plot

Wild Buster: Heroes of Titan takes players to a galaxy torn by a war fought against the so-called Broken – an aggressive race of robots who aim at annihilating the human race. Colonists living on the planet of Titan bravely face the invaders and cooperate with each other setting aside all their quarrels. Colonists are divided into two separate factions. There are the so-called Guardians – a military organization established to defend humanity from any threats. The members of this faction are very disciplined and have undergone punishing training. The other faction on Titan is The Abandon – mutated creatures specializing in survival techniques and very proficient with weapons and gadgets. Regardless of which side you choose, your objective is to face one common enemy.

Mechanics

In PC Wild Buster: Heroes of Titan players observe the action from the top-down perspective. Battles take place in real time – the game is heavily inspired by the formula developed for hack'n'slash productions. The developers give at players' disposal diversified heroes representing different professions such as Engineer, Tamer, Dual-Blade Assassin, and Sniper. Among the available characters, the most recognizable are those featured in other video games, including Serious Sam (the main protagonist of a video game series created by Coteam) and Duke Nukem (who played the main part in the iconic FPS games with the same title). Players can also create their own characters that best suit their preferences.

Each hero has a different set of skills that can be upgraded using the acquired items. Other elements that affect one's combat potential are the experience level and armor that is diversified in terms of rarity and stat bonuses.

Game modes

Wild Buster: Heroes of Titan for PC offers both PvE and PvP modes. The former comprises several hundred quests and special daily missions – for completing them players are rewarded with precious items. There are also raids (all of which end with a boss battle), dungeons featuring different difficulty levels, and missions on which players have to defend a given location from consecutive enemy waves. The PvP modes include 1v1 and team matches. Also worth mentioning is the fact that players are allowed to establish guilds and sell pieces of their inventory at the auction house.

Technical aspects

The PC release of Wild Buster: Heroes of Titan features decent quality cartoon visuals. Players are bound to appreciate visual effects that accompany fighting the opponents, as the screen is filled with flashes, flames, and explosions. The entire experience is well complemented with the dynamic soundtrack that cheers players on.
