Chained Echoes is a role-playing game inspired by 16-bit productions from the SNES console. Matthias Linda is responsible for creating the title. The game was released by Deck13 studio, which is known for The Surge 2 .

Plot

The action in Chained Echoes takes place on the continent of Valandis which combines elements of fantasy and science fiction. This land has been digested for many years by the war of the three kingdoms. It is the player's job to resolve the conflict.

Mechanics

Chained Echoes is a classic representative of the RPG genre. During the adventure, the player explores the world, gathers a team, talks with the NPCs, performs a variety of tasks and fights in turn-based combat.

There is also a character development system. As the game progresses, the player advance to the next levels and gain new abilities. In addition, you can also discover more powerful equipment that will improve the hero's stats.

In addition to exploring the world on foot, the player can also use two vehicles. The first of these is mech. This machine is equipped with a powerful laser weapon for use in combat. The second means of transport is an airship, which helps to get to places that are difficult to reach.

Chained Echoes is a production inspired by 16-bit jRPGs. The graphics are based on the pixel art technique, and the whole is shown in an isometric view. The soundtrack has been composed to resemble the music from the role-playing games produced for the first PlayStation.
