Catlateral Damage is a humorous game concept of which can be easily understood by any cat person, for these adorable creatures have to drop all kinds of items from tables and shelves every now and then. In Catlateral Damage, we assume the role of such a cat who is left alone in an otherwise empty apartment, and our task is to destroy the things by dropping them to the ground. The game was developed by a single person, Chris Chung, who is a professional game tester.
The gameplay uses few mechanics. The cat can jump high and move object with his front paws. The controls are limited to just a bunch of keys and a mouse. Our task is to score as many points as possible within two minutes. In order to break records, not only do you have to effectively drop things to the ground, but also plan the best route that will allow to throw off more objects in the same amount of time. The graphics of Catlateral Damage is not of advanced kind, but is legible and simple in a nice way.
