This title was created thanks to the cooperation between Crosse Studios and the Australian Big Ant Studios (AFL Live, Don Bradman Cricket 14, Rugby League Live).

Mechanics

Lacrosse is an ice hockey-like (and probably his inspiration) sport, which was created in the first half of the 19th century in Canada. The game takes place on a grassy surface and consists of two teams of 10 players. The aim of the competition is to place a small ball in the opponent's goal using a special rocket. The lacrosse matches last one hour (games are divided into 4 quarters of 15 minutes each).

Casey Powell Lacrosse 18 faithfully reflects this sport. We have emotions, high speed, fast passes and powerful shots, and everything is reproduced with a great deal of realism. The creators have made every effort to properly reflect the wide range of offensive and defensive games that can be enforced while playing. This is facilitated by a well-designed control model, which is significantly different from the previous part of the game - it was prepared practically from scratch. The system of manual changes is also a novelty.

Casey Powell Lacrosse 18 is based on two modes: Coach Career and Be The Player Mode. In their case the game is based on creating their own player or coach and going through the next stages of their career. A player's career is accompanied by a development system through which we can modify his statistics. There is also an option to play a single match, and if we get bored of competing with artificial intelligence, we can face other players in a local or network multiplayer mode.

Technical aspects

Casey Powell Lacrosse 18 has a three-dimensional graphic design that presents a level similar to other modern sports games. The animations of the players, based on the motion capture technology, have been prepared with particular care. The game is accompanied by a professional match commentary.
