CART Precision Racing is a realistic simulation of car racing, created by Terminal Reality development studio. Players have the opportunity to try their hand at the wheel of the Champ Car World series racing cars, competing on 17 carefully reproduced tracks. The title benefits from the official Championship Auto Racing Teams license.

CART Precision Racing is a proposal of Terminal Reality studio addressed to fans of professional motor sport. The title is an American response to the popularity of racing simulations of the kind created by Geoff Crammond of the Grand Prix series.

Players can play the role of car drivers competing in the Champ Car World racing series. The official license of Championship Auto Racing Teams allowed developers to use authentic team names (Juan Manuel Fangio II, Alex Zanardi, Max Papis and others). The competition takes place on seventeen carefully mapped tracks located not only in North America, but also in Australia and South America.

As befits a real-world simulation, CART Precision Racing developers put a lot of emphasis on a realistic racing car experience. The physics engine used shall take into account parameters such as overload and centrifugal force acting on the vehicle. The player also has access to telemetric data, which allows to change the settings of key components of the car (e.g. aerodynamic elements, tyres, gearboxes).
