Caravan SandWitch is a third-person action adventure game with a sci-fi open world inspired by the French region of Provence. The independent studio Plane Toast is responsible for developing this game.
Plot
The game's action takes us to a fictional, post-apocalyptic world called Cigalo. The presence of people had a negative impact on the world, turning Cigalo from a green planet into a wasteland of ruins.
On our way, we meet a few who have not left this hostile environment. They include robots left after the exploitation of the planet, people living in the city, and the mysterious SandWitch.
Gameplay
The gameplay in Caravan SandWitch is mainly focused on exploration and solving puzzles as well as performing side missions. Our main task is to find the missing sister. For this purpose, we set off on a journey through the deserted lands beyond the city. Our van is the main means of transport in the wasteland. We can alternatively choose to explore the world on foot.
During the adventure, we meet new characters with quest opportunities, completing which will help us improve our vehicle. The improvements may include radar scanning of the immediate area. Everyone on the planet is trying to live in harmony and mutual assistance. It's up to us how we fit into this community.
While exploring the world, we have a lot of freedom of movement, which encourages us to leave the marked path. This allows for a closer look at every nook and cranny, leading to discovering relics of the past and new trace of our lost sister.
