Car Mechanic Simulator VR is a spin-off of the popular series, in which we work as a car mechanic who restores damaged cars. The game was developed by GameFormatic and Red Dot Games.

Car Mechanic Simulator VR is a spin-off of the well-known series, in which we take the role of a car mechanic. Unlike other parts of the series, this game was developed with virtual reality goggles in mind. GameFormatic and Red Dot Games studios are responsible for its development. The publisher is PlayWay.

Mechanics

In Car Mechanic Simulator VR we observe the action from the eyes of the hero (first person perspective). The game is about repairing, tuning and painting cars in our workshop. We have at our disposal dozens of classic car models. We also use various tools at work (over a dozen types).

It is worth noting that the game uses motion controllers - we take actions by moving our hands and observe the result in the game world.

However, that's not all - the developers of Car Mechanic Simulator VR have included in their game also car auctions, where we can both buy old, damaged cars, and sell those that we have renovated. We can also perform additional, randomly generated missions, and even drive cars.

As you progress, you unlock more options and possibilities in your garage (such as a spray paint gun).

Game modes

In Car Mechanic Simulator VR we can play only solo. The core of the gameplay is the single player mode.

Technical aspects

Car Mechanic Simulator VR has a fairly simple 3D graphic design. The graphics are quite realistic, and the best impression is made here by very detailed models of cars and individual parts for them. Moreover, thanks to virtual reality, the level of immersion is very high.

The game requires VR goggles to function and works with headsets such as Valve Index, HTC Vive and Oculus Rift.
