A classic two-dimensional fight in which we take control over the players representing two famous corporations - Capcom and SNK. The game has a graduated difficulty level and a wide range of gameplay modes.

Capcom vs SNK 2: EO is a title representing the genre of classic two-dimensional beats'em ups. The Capcom vs. SNK series was launched around the year 2000. Subsequent titles were released on many different consoles, including Dreamcast, the first generation of PlayStation, and even the portable Nintendo DS. This edition was created with Xbox and Gamecube owners in mind. Both versions present a very similar level of quality. This applies to both audiovisuals and available gameplay modes. It is also worth noting that in both cases, two players can play (on a common screen).

The general rules of the game remain unchanged. This battles give us the opportunity to take control fighters representing the two eponymous companies. In total we can choose from forty different characters, taken from games such as Street Fighter, The King of Fighters, Samurai Showdown, Final Fight, Darkstalkers, or Fatal Fury. Initially only a dozen or so warriors are available. However, as the game progresses, new characters are unlocked. There were also some hidden warriors.
