Calvin Tucker's Redneck: Farm Animal Racing Tournament

Calvin Tucker's Redneck: Farm Animal Racing Tournament is a humorous racing game, the second installment of Calvin Tucker's Redneck (Calvin Tucker's Redneck Jamboree was released two years earlier). The game was developed by Team6 Game Studios specializing in low-budget productions, addressed to less demanding audiences.

Plot

The heroes of Calvin Tucker's Redneck: Farm Animal Racing Tournament are animals who are bored with a peaceful life on an American farm. A cow, a pig, a chicken and a frog have decided to organize races featuring various vehicles that could be found on the farm. The things become more complicated when a UFO appears above the marked out route, moving the participants of the competition to other places and epochs.

Mechanics

The game has an arcade character. There are no shortages of obstacles to avoid, but also power-ups that give us an advantage over competitors. The driving model has little to do with reality, allowing you to drive madly and jump spectacularly without worrying about damage to your vehicle.

Game modes

The game offers the opportunity to take part in a single race or a series of five tournaments. We race not only on the farm, but also on the North Pole, in ancient Egypt, on a pirates' island, and inside a pyramid. WE can choose from eight characters, each with a different skill (e.g. the chicken can shoot at opponents with eggs, and the pig can release smelly gases towards their rivals).

Technical aspects

The graphics in Calvin Tucker's Redneck: Farm Animal Racing Tournament clearly indicate the low-cost nature of the game. The 3D graphics maintained in cartoon style have strikingly poor-quality textures.
