The next installment of a rich series of dynamic hunting games using the official license of the American chain of stores with hunting equipment - Cabela's. In Cabela's Big Game Hunter: Pro Hunts we play the role of a hunter and hunt for wild animals from North America.

Cabela's Big Game Hunter: Pro Hunts is yet another installment in the hunting game series, officially licensed by a well-known American hunting equipment retailer – Cabela’s. Pro Hunts, is not a simulator per se, but more of an action-oriented title. The game was produced by a Slovak developer Cauldron and published by Activision.

In the various games in the Cabela’s series, the player assumes the role of a hunter, learning to track and hunt various animals, often with the need to meet specific criteria to proceed. The unique feature of Pro Hunts is the interesting single player campaign - four famous American hunters: Wade Middleton, Jim Shockey, and Ralph & Vicki Cianciarulo will show the player the ropes of big-game hunting in North America.

Pro Hunts is a first-person perspective game. Compared to the previous installments in the series, it offers enhanced physics and animal AI.
