The second installment of a series of hunting games signed with the logo of the well-known company Cabela's dealing with the production of tourist and hunting equipment. Compared to the previous part, the graphic design has been improved, new locations have been added and the available arsenal has been enlarged.

Cabela's Big Game Hunter II is a development of ideas used in the first installment of the cycle released less than a year earlier. Once again we play the role of a hunter and go hunting by leasing equipment marked with the logo of Cabela's, a company that manufactures specialized equipment.

Before we start playing, we prepare the expedition. Players have three locations at their disposal: Alberta, New Mexico and an African safari in Canada. Each of the available areas is characterised by a different climate and the flora and fauna that can be found there. As part of our preparations, we select the appropriate equipment including various types of weapons, binoculars, antlers' dummies, tent, compass and other useful accessories. We also obtain a permit to hunt a particular species of animal (out of a dozen or so available) from a tourist agent.
