Apart from Touring Car Racing 2010, Burn It is the first car race in the British company Play Sunshine's publishing output. The title was produced by a development branch located in Romania.

The plot of the game focuses around races organized by an influential club of the richest people in the world. The player plays the role of one of the creme drivers, including oil oligarchs, exempt bankers and dishonest managers of investment funds. Driving the fastest and most luxurious cars ever on the road, they race through the streets of 10 metropolises around the world (including London, Berlin, Rio de Janeiro and Washington).

Burn It offers three fun modes: single race, time trial and championship. The player has at his disposal a dozen or so models of cars, which look like vehicles directly from the studio of the most famous designers. Game developers have also taken care of the possibility of introducing numerous add-ons - from really useful improvements to expensive property and completely unnecessary snobbish accessories.

The driving model used in the game has a strictly arcade character. Virtual drivers can take turns at dizzying speeds and get out of even the most serious-looking crashes. During races, the only thing that counts is to cross the finish line before the competitors.

The level of Burn It's audio-visual setting clearly indicates the low-cost nature of production. Car models and the surroundings of the routes are characterised by a low level of detail. The only exception to this are spectacular presentations of cars in the player's virtual garage.
