Bravely Archive: D's Report, released on AND and iOS, is a Japanese RPG developed by Square Enix. The game is a spin-off of the Bravely Default series.
Plot
The action of Bravely Archive: D's Report is set several hundred years after the events from the console parts of the series. We play the role of a new employee of the ancient library Anastasis, which, according to legends, contains all the knowledge that has ever been discovered in this universe. It is our responsibility to ensure that this doesn't change. That's why we have to travel around the world and collect memories of great heroes locked in magic crystals and then deliver them to the library.
Mechanics
In Bravely Archive: D's Report, we command the party of characters and spend most of our time fighting turn-based battles. The key to winning is the magic system and the combination of attacks into deadly combinations with a variety of effects. For example, one of the spells throws an opponent into the air, allowing us to hit it with techniques available only against flying enemies.
As befits an RPG, Bravely Archive: D's Report also includes a development system. In addition to the traditional collection of experience points and the improvement of statistics, we can also choose our characters' professions. Our characters can develop in one of more than thirty professions and after mastering one of them, they can freely choose their next career path, which allows for a lot of freedom in shaping the skills.
