Multiplier shooter, in which the action is observed from the side. During the game we hit the middle of the fights between NATO and Warsaw Pact soldiers, and our task is to eliminate the opponents. This is how we earn money, which we spend on more and more powerful weapons and gadgets, which in turn increases our combat potential. Production is distributed free of charge (free-to-play).
BRAIN / OUT is a multiplayer shooter, in which the players land in the heart of battle between NATO and Warsaw Pact soldiers, fought in one of the former Soviet republics. The game is distributed in a free-to-play model; the independent team at Desertkun is responsible for its development.
Mechanics
In BRAIN / OUT we observe the action from the side. The mainstay of the game are the battles with other players, which take place on various maps. By killing enemies, we gain money that we can use to buy better and better weapons. We have a wide range of firearms at our disposal - the arsenal includes machine guns, shotguns, pistols, and sniper rifles, and is complemented by melee weapons.
What is important, the purchase of stronger and stronger weapons is not the only way to increase our chances of victory - weapons can be modified, enriching them with more effective sights, grips, stocks, barrels, scopes and finally bigger magazines, among others. In addition, we can get a bullet-proof vest or a helmet that increases the endurance of our character, or use one of the explosive gadgets, such as anti-personnel mines or grenades.
Technical aspects
BRAIN / OUT has a two-dimensional visuals adopting a gloomy style to refer to the post-Soviet reality. Due to its simplicity, the hardware requirements of the title are low - the game will be successfully launched by owners of older computers.
