The game takes place in Florence at the end of the 15th century. The player directs the actions of Basilius Valentius, an expert in medical studies of a Camaldoli monk who comes to the city at the request of his sick friend Lorenzo. Unfortunately, the patient dies, but the circumstances of his death raise doubts. The hero has to determine if it was a murder and who is behind it.
Borgia: Faith and Fear is a mix of HOG (hidden objects) puzzles, logical mini-games and uncomplicated puzzles that consist mainly of manipulating items from your inventory, characteristic of many casual adventures.
The quality of the audiovisual setting does not deviate from the standards applicable to this type of productions. Two-dimensional, hand-drawn backgrounds are enriched with simple animations. The party is accompanied by atmospheric background music.
