Borderlands 2: Commander Lilith & the Fight for Sanctuary Description
Borderlands 2: Commander Lilith & the Fight for Sanctuary is the fifth add-on to the 2012 Borderlands 2 - a post-apocalyptic FPS with RPG elements from Gearbox Software. The DLC covers the story gap between the second and third installment of the series.
Plot
Borderlands 2: Commander Lilith & the Fight for Sanctuary tells about another crisis on Pandora - a map of vaults has been stolen, the Sanctuary is under attack and a dangerous gas poisons the entire planet. The player again takes on the role of one of the heroes from the basic version of the game and together with Lilith and the Crimson Raiders faces the new enemy, who is responsible for all these misfortunes.
Mechanics
Borderlands 2 Commander Lilith & the Fight for Sanctuary, as well as the basic version of the game, is a first-person looter shooter. Controlling a character from one of the available classes, the players explore maps, perform various tasks, fight hordes of enemies with a large arsenal of firearms and gain better equipment and skills. Borderlands 2 Commander Lilith & the Fight for Sanctuary increases the maximum level cap to 80. It also introduces a new, even higher level of rare items and a few other innovations.
Technical aspects
Borderlands 2: Commander Lilith & the Fight for Sanctuary features distinctive cel-shading visuals. The game is powered by Unreal Engine from Epic Games studio.
For the first month after the announcement the DLC was available for free to all owners of the basic version of the game.
