Boom Ball for Kinect Description
Boom Ball for Kinect is a colorful arcade game developed for the second generation Kinect sensor, the third installment of the series, launched on PC and Mac by Boom Ball and Boom Ball Adventures. The game is created by an independent studio Virtual Air Guitar Company, which has also been created for Kung-Fu motion controllers: High Impact and Kung-Fu Live.
The mechanics of the game is in a sense an evolution of solutions, known from the classic Arkanoid, enriched with elements of BlockOut and tennis and transferred to the third dimension. In the next stages of the game, the player's task is to throw and bounce special balls in such a way as to completely destroy the structures made of cubic blocks and blow up all the bombs on the board. Various crazy bonuses such as extra balls, magical portals and even flying ducks add to the fun.
The game is characterized by an incredibly colorful graphic design, full of various explosions and light effects. Individual boards are set in different sceneries (desert, dark forest, cosmos or ocean depths) and use different thematic motifs. According to the game title, only the Kinect 2.0 controller is used to control the game, which in combination with the dynamics of the game guarantees an appropriate portion of physical effort.
