Bloons TD Battles 2

Bloons TD Battles 2 is a strategy game with PvP mode and tower defense elements. It is another installment of the series developed by Ninja Kiwi.

Game mechanics

At the beginning of the game, we have to wait for the game to pick our opponent - another player. When we are done with that, we choose the character that we want to fight in the battle. These characters have their own unique abilities and appearance. Each of them has similar rules of play, but mastering their strengths takes a lot of time. Then we choose (or the game draws) one of the nine maps, where the battles take place. They differ both visually and in the layout of the paths taken by the hostile Bloons.

Clashes are observed from top-down perspective. During the battles Bloons travel a fixed route, ending behind our headquarters. Each one, which will reach the end, takes away a certain amount of life points. At the start we get 150 of them. Bloons take different forms: regular balloons, armored balloons or huge airships. Depending on their type, we'll need more powerful weapons to defeat them. They are heading towards us in waves, activated at the beginning of each round (there are 40 of them during one match). We observe the actions of the enemy on the other half of the screen, which allows us to choose the appropriate tactics in a given battle.
