Game mechanics

We observe the entire game from a first-person perspective. In order for our property to serve as a hotel, we have to restore it, which involves cleaning, putting up new furniture, putting up new wallpaper or preparing attractions for guests. The matter is made easier by our vampire abilities, which allow us to lift objects without touching them.

However, no skills can replace resources. Constructing new room furnishings and repairing damage to the hotel requires exploring the dungeons beneath the building and acquiring the right items for crafting. As it turns out, however, the dungeons are inhabited by skeletons and other wraiths, defending access to their treasures. To get rid of them, we choose weapons forged with our own hands in our forge. The combat system itself is very simple and is based entirely on close-quarters clashes.

Guests pay for their stay at the hotel with money, which we can spend on hiring new employees or buying resources. In addition to a place to sleep, guests also need food. Food is made from ingredients grown in the basement, found during dungeon exploration or acquired by milking an undead cow and collecting eggs from zombie chickens. Nothing prevents us from saving some of the food by turning wayward guests into pork chops.

As a vampire, we also have our own needs. As we use our powers, their strength will diminish. To prevent this, we need to feed on human blood regularly, but be careful: too many victims can attract unwanted attention.

Technical aspects

Bloody Hell Hotel features graphics stylized on the dark cartoons. The title draws attention with refined animations and a color scheme in shades of purple and green.
