Blood Bowl: Kerrunch Description
Blood Bowl: Kerrunch is a brutal turn-based sports game released on AND and iOS. The production is available in a free-to-play model with microtransactions and was developed by the French studio Cyanide.
Plot
The project is an adaptation of the Games Workshop board game from 1991. The basic idea behind the game is the same as in Blood Bowl. The action is set in the Warhammer universe, and the whole revolves around a brutal sport resembling a crazy version of American football where people, dwarves, elves and various monsters living in the land known as the Old World participate.
Mechanics
As in the case of the table original, Blood Bowl: Kerrunch offers a simpler variant of the standard Blood Bowl. Matches are played in a turn-based system on small boards consisting of forty square fields. Two teams of five players compete with each other. The goal is to score three touchdowns - we get them by taking the ball to the opposite end of the field. There are no other rules, so the matches are full of violence and brutality.
There are 75 players that we can use in our team. Among them, we have people, elves, dwarves, goblins, orcs and scavens. Each of these characters has unique characteristics and skills.
Game modes
Blood Bowl: Kerrunch offers an extensive single-player mode that allows you to take part in the fight for the cup. To win it, we have to play two hundred matches - each of them is a separate challenge requiring different tactics.
The game also features a multiplayer mode, which allows you to compete with other players.
