Blair Witch, volume one: Rustin Parr Description
Rustin Parr is the first installment in the series of games inspired by the incredible Blair Witch. In the game, we get to personally resolve the mystery of Burkittsville murders. The year is 1941 and Rustin Parr was just pronounced guilty of murder. That vile man who killed innocent kids pleaded guilty, but also said that he committed that terrible crime at the instigation of an old woman’s ghost.
Because of these bizarre events, Doc Holliday arrived in Burkittsville. His mission is to double check the sentence in case of the aforementioned murders, as well as investigate the origin of the legend of the witch and other stories of evil. Assuming the role of the protagonist, we have to do research, talk to the locals and solve puzzles.
The game focuses on investigation and adventure, although the fans of action will also get their moments. A number of settings that either simplify or complicate the puzzles ensure that everyone can have fun with Blair Witch. In order to provide the atmosphere of terror, the developers convinced the cast of the movie to voice-over the game’s characters.
